This month's luncheon, Drilling Towards Performance, is unique. The meeting is dedicated to planning for the year ahead. We would like to discuss events you would like to see, as well as the ideas our own board has come up with.

Mr. Spatz serves as Managing Director and is an original founder of XR Team. He has spent more than 30 years as a leader in the development of the directional drilling and horizontal well technologies and service operations around the world. We are grateful to welcome him to the board!

Upcoming IADD Events

The October luncheon is going to have a special schedule as we will be focusing on what you would like to see from IADD in 2023. The event will last all day, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and we hope to see you there!

Baker Hughes Rig Count

For last week:

U.S. Rig Count is up 7 from last week to 769 with oil rigs up 8 to 610, gas rigs down 1 to 157, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 2.
U.S. Rig Count is up 226 rigs from last year’s count of 543 with oil rigs up 165, gas rigs up 59, and miscellaneous up 2.
U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 1 to 14, up 2 year-over-year.

For last month:

International Rig Count is up 19 rigs from last month to 879 with land rigs up 10 to 660, offshore rights up 9 to 219.
The average U.S. Rig Count for September was 763 down 1 from last month’s count of 764 and up 255 year-over-year.
The Worldwide Rig Count for September was 1,853, up 28 from the 1,825 counted in August 2022, and up 405 from the 1,448 counted in September 2021.
