API exec sounds the alarm over EPA action in the Permian
The Environmental Protection Agency's potential move to issue a discretionary redesignation for portions of the Permian Basin poses a threat to the "backbone of the energy revolution here," said American Petroleum Institute Senior Vice
President of Policy, Economics, and Regulatory Affairs Frank Macchiarola during an interview. "What this administration should be actually doing is promoting more American oil and gas development," Macchiarola added.
