Letter from the Executive Director

I have mentioned that IADD is looking to revamp the Board of Directors along topical lines. I am pleased to announce our second addition in Troy Oney. He will be on the Drilling Automation Committee. If you are interested in joining Troy on the Committee please let us know. We will be holding our first organizing meeting in the coming weeks.

Troy Oney

Troy Oney is in the Technical Sales, Principal group of Helmerich & Payne based in Houston, Texas. As a member of the Sales and Marketing team focused on driving Business Strategy that contains drilling innovation, safety, performance excellence and reliability. Directional Industry implementation of rig drilling operational automation allowing clear differential processes and programs that will exceed our current and new customer base expectations. Targeting implementation of Drilling Rig Operations with Engineering and Software, creating a connect ability of all aspects of our drilling offering.
Troy brings over 40 years of experience in downhole tools, cementing, drill bits, directional services and fluids background, piecing all these elements into a unique prospective of knowledge and understanding.
