I looked back through my files and couldn’t believe that it has been six months since I last wrote this column. A lot has happened since then.

 

My sense is that it is time to get things ramped back up at IADD. There are a tremendous number of changes in the industry, and we need to try and stay on top of them. I hope to get a series of things going through the second half of the year. Stay tuned for coming announcements.  

 

I will be looking for Board and Committee member volunteers. My thoughts are to start with Topical sub-committees, MWD for example and build up a base from there. We can then expand into other areas. As I said, contact me if you have ideas and are interested in getting involved.

 

Another change is that we have a new member of the staff at IADD. Emalee Springfield is a very sharp young lady who will be taking on a lot of the admin duties. We’re going to (try) to start slow, but my sense is that she will catch on quickly.
