As every day we push the limits to drill record-breaking wells, modeling has become a required and intricate step in well planning and construction. Many solutions are available today to help drilling engineers accomplish this intricate task but too often the needs and hopes of one party may not be fulfilled by the limitation of the software or service providers’ solutions.
To improve communication between operators and software providers, IADD would like to invite drilling engineers from various operators to share their needs and expectations of what they believe a modeling software should provide and discuss with software engineers from different modeling companies how they can improve, together, the offerings available on the market. In parallel, software developers will have an opportunity to present their modeling software and share with operators the
limiting factors, technical or that prevent them for offering more sophisticated solutions and how operators could help provide the missing data and resources to improve their models.
Please join us for IADD’s luncheon on February 27th, 2020 at Landry’s and sign up by texting the word MODELING to 91999 or clicking the link below to be part of the panel and help the industry build the foundation of what modeling solution will achieve in the future.
