We're excited to partner with Dr. Robello Samuel in the presentation of a two day, certified Mud Motor course training session.
Positive displacement motors, commonly called Mud Motors, are simple but elegant machines that have become an integral part of the BHA, particularly when drilling shale wells. Tremendous advancements have been made in this technology but there are still challenges remaining in the
use of Mud Motors.
This two-day workshop on Mud Motors covers the concepts of Mud Motors, their performance, advancements that have been made in the technology, the future of Mud Motor designs, how to use Mud Motors and when to use them particularly in difficult theatres.
This Mud Motor workshop covers touring a Mud Motor manufacturing facility and is targeted for engineers, Mud Motor experts and manufacturers.
Please note that event price includes Positive Displacement Motor: Theory and Applications color textbook (450 pages) by Dr. Robello Samuel (Author).

Donations Requested
Over the years, the IADD has partnered with Operation Military Embrace, Inc., (OME)—a Texas-based tax-exempt/non-profit 501(c)(3) military support organization that’s helps America’s seriously injured and ill Warriors and their families in their time of need—through the donation of cash and household items (toys, kitchen items, linens, etc.).
This year, we’d like to invite attendees to our Houston chapter luncheons to bring items (clothes, gift cards, food items, etc.), which will then be given to wounded service members at Camp Hope (Houston campus for the PTSD Foundation), as well as other private and VA facilities throughout the year.
For a list of what is needed, click here. For information on OME, go to http://www.operationmilitaryembrace.com/.
