Letter From the Executive Director

Cast the Vision! This is one of the takeaways from the Steering Towards Automated Directional Drilling. There was a very healthy dialogue amongst the almost 80 participants. The one thing that was missing? A definitive direction that the industry is heading. I want IADD to help create and communicate that vision. Look for future announcements on this initiative.

The ERD Database is under construction. We are changing the legacy BP spreadsheet concept with a modern, searchable, web-based design. The beta version should be rolling out in a few weeks.

David Gibson has joined the International Board of Directors. David brings a lot of energy and ideas to the board. Be sure to welcome him if you see him.

We have a lot of things going on this spring. Be sure to check the schedule and join us.
