Any Volunteer organization runs on the efforts of folks who see value in what they are doing and are willing to donate their time, energy and resources to it.  We are very grateful to the many participants who make IADD run. We do have a staff that works tirelessly to continually improve the IADD experience, but we could not pull it off without the many volunteers who contribute.  Thank you to all who help.

We are in the process of evaluating the future path of IADD.  It is good to periodically assess where we are and where we want to go.  In talking to our members, I hear people talk about four main areas:

• Networking – It is good to get out of our normal routine and meet friends and colleagues.
• Information – You come to our events to find out what is going on in the industry.  We want to continue to expand our website so that it too will be a go-to source of information.
  
• Training – We have a few training courses available but are looking to expand this.  Look to the Annual Technical Forum for a half-day course on the principals of mud-motors.
• Standards – Our industry is notoriously lax when it comes to a consistent approach to some technical issues.  We have had several calls for our organization to take the lead in addressing these areas.
