How do you measure quality? What are the criteria? Making these assessments can be especially elusive when talking about your well.
Wellbore
quality also means different things to different people who are involved with placing the well and optimizing production... - To a directional driller, it can be about painting the line
- To a geologist, it can be about identifying and staying in the zone
- To a completion engineer, it can be about the ease of running casing or a completion system
- To a production engineer, it can be about production rates or minimizing workovers or well interventions
What are the metrics used? Are they aligned or diametrically opposed? Is one group even aware of the scorecard being used by the other?
Join the International Association of Directional Drilling (IADD) at this topical forum, which will address these issues and determine the criteria for success. We will
foster dialogue and understanding of the business metrics utilized by each group and discuss how the well construction process impacts the completion and production teams. We will also seek to define consistent, cross-discipline metrics that meet the goals and expectations of each group.
We look forward to seeing each of you at this exciting
event.
